I designed the MagiSky concept during my Masters Degree as a innovative alternative to the standard projection format; the projector would be mounted within the ceiling and would project down onto a mirrored hemisphere. This allows the projection to fill a room with 360 degrees content.

Designed to give you access to everything you need, right where you need it. Place a TV on your ceiling and watch Netflix from your bed, link your Ring!™ doorbell and have the camera feed pop up when on the wall when someones at the door or simply display a slideshow of your most precious memories.
Using projections and reflections MagiSky maps to the unique shape of your room and uses your walls and ceilings as platforms to display all the content you want - exactly where you want it.

See who is at the door.
Smart doorbells are already pretty smart but with our help we can make them smarter. At the moment they work like this - someone rings the doorbell and you get a notification on your phone, you then have to take your phone out your pocket or at the very least unlock it in order to see who is at the door. Imagine if you're busy preparing food or painting with your child, your hands are far too messy to unlock your phone. With MagiSky the video from the camera within the doorbell will automatically appear on the wall so you can see who is at the door and whether you actually need to stop what you are doing. The feed will then disappear automatically when the doorbell stops detecting movement.
Have the ceiling display the current weather.
One of the main inspirations for this project was Harry Potter - specifically the enchanted ceiling in Hogwarts's Great Hall that magically displays the current weather. Therefore we just had to include a setting that brought this magic into reality. Just let the app know your location and it will do the rest. You can even become a weatherman and change the setting yourself, if its a gloomy day outside then brighten up your room with some sunny blue skies.
(Note: Does not actually change the weather nor makes you a weatherman)
Watch TV in bed
Not only can you place a screen for watching content on any wall but you can even place it on the ceiling! Improve your Netflix and chill game by placing a screen directly above your bed, perfect for cuddling up to catch up on your favourite programs. If you can stream it you can watch it - this means that you are not just limited to Netflix, you can watch YouTube, Amazon Video, Now TV, Hulu, Putlocker and many more.
